Terms and Conditions for Ticket Sales

1. General Information
1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the sale and use of tickets for events organised by Renaissance Faire UK ("RenFaire UK").
1.2 By purchasing a ticket, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1.3 RenFaire UK reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, with changes effective immediately upon publication on our website.

2. Ticket Purchase
2.1 All tickets must be purchased through Ticket Tailor, RenFaire UK's authorised ticketing platform.
2.2 Availability of tickets is not guaranteed until payment is completed.
2.3 Upon successful purchase, an e-ticket or confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided. The buyer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their details.

3. Ticket Use
3.1 Each ticket is valid for the specific event, date, and time stated on the ticket.
3.2 Tickets are non-transferable unless the original buyer contacts RenFaire UK via email, providing the name and email address of the new ticket holder.
3.3 Tickets obtained through unauthorised channels will be considered invalid, and entry may be denied.

4. Admission and Attendance
4.1 Entry to the event requires a valid ticket. Attendees may be asked to present a valid photo ID matching the name on the ticket.
4.2 RenFaire UK reserves the right to refuse admission or remove attendees who:

  • Engage in unacceptable behaviour, including intoxication or harassment.

  • Fail to follow event rules or safety guidelines.
    4.3 Late arrivals may be admitted at the discretion of RenFaire UK.​
     

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
5.1 No refunds are offered for general tickets under any circumstances.
5.2 For other ticket types (if applicable), refunds are available up to 60 days before the event. To request a refund, contact RenFaire UK via email. Refunds for eligible tickets will be processed within 30 days of the request being approved.
5.3 If the event is cancelled by RenFaire UK, all ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund.
5.4 If the event is rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date. Refunds will not be issued unless the ticket holder is unable to attend the rescheduled date.

6. Liability
6.1 RenFaire UK is not responsible for:

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.

  • Personal property brought to the event.

  • Any injury, loss, or damage sustained at the event unless caused by RenFaire UK's negligence.
    6.2 RenFaire UK reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule or content without prior notice.​
     

7. Privacy
7.1 Personal data provided during ticket purchase will be processed in line with RenFaire UK's Privacy Policy.
7.2 By purchasing a ticket, you consent to receiving event-related communications.

8. Force Majeure
8.1 RenFaire UK shall not be held liable for failure to deliver the event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or pandemics.

9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
9.2 Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
