Adamant, the Crystal World, is a land of majestic crystal mountains that refract sunlight into vibrant hues of pink, purple, and blue. This dazzling realm became the home of the Elves after the great battle between Oberon and Shael shattered the One World, scattering its fragments across the multiverse beneath the World Tree. In Adamant, elemental beings of Water, Earth, Fire, and Metal coexist in a harmonious balance, shaping the world’s beauty and energy.
The Elves, drawn to the elegance and mysticism of Adamant, sought to harness the realm’s power for their mastery of Arcane Magic. However, the elemental beings demanded respect and collaboration, decreeing that no Elf could channel their power without proving themselves worthy. Each aspiring mage must pass a test from at least one elemental, demonstrating not only strength and intellect but also their understanding of the element’s essence.
Only two Elves in history—Princess Syldari and Queen Nae—have succeeded in passing all four tests, earning mastery over all four elemental schools of magic. This unparalleled achievement has cemented their status as the greatest mages in Elven history, guiding their people with unmatched wisdom and power.
The Elves of Adamant live in breathtaking crystal dwellings, seamlessly carved into the mountains that surround them. Their cities are a testament to their artistic and magical prowess, blending the natural beauty of the crystals with architectural refinement. Adamant is a realm of balance, brilliance, and arcane potential, a place where the Elves strive to honour the world’s harmony while perfecting their magical craft. Yet the lingering echoes of Oberon and Shael’s conflict serve as a reminder of the fragile balance that holds Adamant together, both within and beyond.
