Camping at Quex Park for Renaissance Faire UK

Camping Tickets
With a camping ticket, you'll receive a designated camping spot. Options include:

  • Individual Camping Ticket: For single campers or smaller groups.

  • Family Camping Ticket: Perfect for larger groups or families.
     

Please note: Only valid camping ticket holders may share tents. Camper Vans are allowed so long as the size of the Camper Van doesn't exceed the camping spot size of 6 x 8 m for standard pitches or 12 x 10 m for premium pitches . Electricity is available for Premium pitches. Box Tents are also allowed. Cars can park on the pitch if you wish. But cannot exceed your camping space or park next to your space. There will also be a dedicated parking area for campers if they wish to keep their camping spot car free.

Arrival & Setup

  • Arrival Time: Campers may arrive starting at 11 AM on Friday. And can leave on Monday from 10 AM. If arriving later than Friday, On-site staff will be happy to help. Make sure all pets are secured with leads whilst in the camping area. All children and pets must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Facilities

  • Showers and Toilets: Provided for camper convenience.
     

  • Electricity: Available for premium pitches. Those with disability needs related to power must get in contact with us to discuss needs.

What to Bring

  • Essential Supplies: Your own tent, camping gear, and cooking equipment (e.g., camp stove). These are not provided by us and must be supplied yourself. We do not offer tents or camping supplies ourselves but certain vendors may do so. 
     

  • Food: While food vendors will be available, we recommend bringing your own food as well to ensure an enjoyable experience as vendors will be highly in demand.

Rules & Regulations

  1. Noise Curfew
    Quiet hours begin at 10 PM.
    Non-camping ticket holders must leave the campsite after this time.

  2. Alcohol Policy
    Alcohol is permitted in the camping area after 5 PM.
    Please drink responsibly. Drunk or disorderly behaviour will result in a warning, and repeated offences may lead to removal from the event without a refund.

  3. Toilet Use
    Use the provided toilet facilities only.
    Urination or defecation outside these facilities will result in immediate removal from the event.

  4. Littering
    Littering is strictly prohibited.
    Offenders will be asked to clean up, with repeated violations leading to removal without a refund.

  5. No entering restricted areas

         Certain areas will be clearly marked as off limits to all event attendees. These will be clearly marked with signs. Some areas will only be available during the daytime. Signs will inform you of which areas are open at which time. If spotted in an restricted area you will be asked to leave. Repeated attempts to ignore guidance will result in a further warning and then ejection from the event grounds with no refund.  

  6. Cookers and heat sources

Cookers and heat sources must be elevated off of the ground. They must not touch the floor at any time. Including when not lit/activated or when inside your tent/camper van, This is a fire safety precaution. the Event grounds are surrounded by flat grasslands.  Cookers with legs are allowed so long as the legs are of sufficient length to not touch the ground. Diesel or petrol based cookers, and generators are not allowed.
